Sample surveys
In some cases, it makes sense to carry out partial surveys, or sample surveys. This is true first and foremost when the aim is to find out information about a large group and differentiation of the results by subgroup is not useful.
This can be advisable if, for example, a full ES can only be carried out every two years but in the intermediate years you wish to get a current take on the company as a whole. This kind of survey involves no in-depth follow-up process, but they are ideal for intermediate metrics and thus help management to learn whether work on key issues or areas of action is on target.
To ensure that the results of a sample survey actually say something meaningful, the survey must be carefully supervised and planned in terms of method, cost and its psychological aspects for example employee involvement and acceptance of the data. We are familiar with all of these aspects and are able to provide our customers with sound support in developing the sample survey. Furthermore, we ensure that sampling is done accurately and that the survey meets the same quality standards as a full-population ES.
