Integrating ES data
Right though it is not to make data collected in the first ES cycle relevant to agreed targets or bonuses, it would be equally wrong not to measure supervisors by their results after several ES cycles. But how? What rules should apply? How do you integrate the ES results into existing key figure, target agreement, assessment and remuneration systems?
On the basis of our experience, proven models and practical examples, we help our customers to develop meaningful solutions for integrating the ES data. For example, on their behalf we develop strategically relevant, valid key figures that are fed into the business key figure and performance management systems. In doing so, we do more than just pad out a couple of questions and turn them more or less arbitrarily into an index. Rather, we choose the questions on the basis of unambiguous, easily understandable, theoretically and empirically justifiable criteria and then check them using methodical appraisal criteria.
The next step is to develop rules for implementing these key figures in collaboration with our customers. For example, we define what value should be given to a specific index, how and for whom it should be integrated into the target agreements, the details of roll-out and how supervisors should be informed and made proficient users of the system.
